Wintery
Snowflake Pendant Pam's daughter was born on December
21st, the first day of winter, and each year
Pam gives her daughter a winter-motif gift
to highlight the special day. Pam requested
a snowflake pendant but left the details up
to me. I created a six sided dichroic
snowflake with a sapphire blue background.
This striking piece is festive and happy!
Cleopatra's
Eye
This pendant was created for my little
friend Emily who is enthralled with ancient
Egypt. My hand drawn version of Cleopatra's
eye is dichroic glass atop a black
background and encased in clear glass. The
square piece also has a clear glass bail and
she chose to have it hung on a black rubber
cord.
Gift
For His Wife Wayne gave this large multi colored bead
as a gift to his wife. After discussing
several options, she chose to have it
showcased between matching spacer beads
(also lampworked by me) and strung with
black onyx beads. Unique and stunning
results!
Her
Favorite Color
JoAnne wanted a bead which
highlighted her favorite
color, maroon. This marble
looking bead was finished as
a complete necklace with an
18" black rubber cord and
looks really cool!
Lucky
Pendant
Rick wanted a green dichroic clover
pendant with golden accents for his wife.
The pendant is square shaped with a black
background. He decided to finish it with a
sterling silver bail and 20" sterling chain.
Farewell
Gift
Pam requested a hula girl
bead she could give as a gift to
a relative relocating to Hawaii.
The finished product is a
whimsical and colorful sun
catcher which definitely evokes
a smile!
Star
of David
Howard created the idea for
this piece as a gift to himself.
The multicolored dichroic Star
of David sits inside a circular
black pendant and is strung on a
24" 2mm black cord.
Turn
a Bead Into a Pendant
Pattie had interest in a round
black bead with surface designs
of red and orange (to match her
Harley gear!!). Since her metal
of choice is gold, this necklace
was completed with 14K gold
beads and components. The black
Swavorski crystal 'dangly' at
the bottom was the finishing
touch.
Sister
Crosses
Jane picked out a stunning
turquoise cross to give her
sister and chose to have a clear
bail (also hand made by me)
attached so it could be worn
with different metal chains or
cord. She liked the results so
much, she purchased a 'sister'
cross for herself.
His
Own Style To show off his
individuality and style, Rich
commissioned this pendant. The
long thin piece hangs on an 18"
black choker and looks very
handsome on him!
Happy Daisy
Heidi emailed requesting a pendant including
a daisy (her favorite flower) and left the
details up to me! The colorful background is
a design of bright pink, periwinkle and red.
The daisy shape has been melted right into
the four layer base. She completed this
'happy' piece with a sterling silver omega
chain.
A
Baby Cross
This graceful cross was what Steve had
in mind as a gift for his daughter. Hanging
at barely one inch it is officially the
tiniest cross I have created to date! The
multiple dichroic colors inside really stand
out against the deep blue background.
Earrings
To Match
Sheila received the 'softly' pendant as
a gift and requested some earrings to
complement the piece. With the same shade of
glass, I lampworked beads and created two
choices for her to choose from.
